I found these adverts in a magazine which we were given in our media lesson and I’m going to analyse them for my three magazine adverts.

This is the friendly fire’s album advert which shows half a mirror shattered by a small black ball on a black background and the title is written with thin white on top section of the cover.
The reflection on the mirror is not clear but you can see a tree on a blue sky whereas on the background it shows a dark sky with stars in it. There’s a contrast between both visions which represents the songs inside the album and says how there are two different types of songs in the album. Or you can understand the representation that the band has shattered the nice reflection and has focused on the dark side more.
On the advert there are some quotes and testimonials to get viewers attention such as “utterly sublime” or “Skilled craftsman of killer pop looks terrific"
